PERSONAL ONLINE BANKING ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
Seattle Bank's Online Banking Enrollment Agreement ("Agreement") governs use of the Seattle Bank Online Banking service ("the Service"). As used in this document, the words "you" and "your" refer to customers of Seattle Bank and their use of this Service. The words "we" and "our" refer to Seattle Bank ("Bank").
INTRODUCTION: This Agreement explains the terms and conditions governing the Online Banking Service offered through Seattle Bank. By using the Service, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The terms and conditions of the deposit agreement and disclosures for each of your accounts held at Seattle Bank as well as any other agreements with Seattle Bank, such as for loans, continue to apply notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement. This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, or to the extent there is no applicable Federal law or regulation, by the laws of the State of Washington. By accepting below or otherwise using the Service, you agree to use the Service only for purposes permitted under this Agreement.
INTERNET BROWSER REQUIREMENT: For your privacy and protection, Seattle Bank requires your browser to support 128-bit encryption. If you do not know how your browser is set, please contact your browser supplier and ask for instructions on setting your browser for 128-bit encryption. You are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of your computer and your browser software. The risk of error, failure, or nonperformance is your personal risk and includes, but is not limited to, the risk that you do not operate your computer or your software properly. Seattle Bank is not responsible for any problems related to electronic viruses that may infect your system. In addition, Seattle Bank makes no warranty to you regarding your computer or your software.
ACCESS: To use the Service, you must have a Seattle Bank account and access to the Internet. Upon acceptance of this Agreement, we will confirm your enrollment by emailing you within 24 hours.
Access ID: The Access ID, along with a password are used to sign on to Online Banking. The Access ID can consist of 6 to 19 characters and must be all lower case and contain at least 1 alpha character.
PASSWORDS: Your password will be determined by you and will not be accessible by Seattle Bank.
Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 8 characters in length and must have a minimum of (1) numeric, (1) upper case, (1) lower case, and (1) special characters.
Special characters exclude the following:
Access to Online banking will be revoked after five (5) unsuccessful attempts and you will be required to contact the Bank to re-establish access to Online Banking.
In addition to these password rules, Seattle Bank uses additional security measures including 'challenge' questions to help identify valid Online Banking users.
You are responsible for keeping your User ID and password and other account information confidential. You will be required to change your password every 365 days. You also agree not to give or make available your User ID, password or other means to access your account to any unauthorized individuals. If you permit others to use this Service or your password or other means to access your account, you are responsible for any transactions they authorize.
AT NO TIME WILL SEATTLE BANK OR ANY EMPLOYEE OF SEATTLE BANK CONTACT YOU TO REQUEST YOUR USER ID, PASSWORD, ACCOUNT NUMBER(S) OR OTHER ACCOUNT INFORMATION. If you are contacted with a request for this information, or believe your account information has been compromised, contact Seattle Bank immediately at (206) 568-7800 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SERVICES: Seattle Bank's Online Banking service allows you to access your account information such as balances and transaction history, check images and bank statements. You can also place stop payments, transfer funds between your Seattle Bank accounts, request Cashier's Checks, change your address and communicate with the Bank using secure email.
FEES & CHARGES: Access to Seattle Bank Online Banking is provided to you free of charge. Other fees and charges may apply for other services used. Refer to the Bank's Fee Schedule and Truth in Savings disclosure for additional information on fees and service charges.EMAIL: Online Banking secure email is provided as a convenience so you may ask questions about your account(s) and for general feedback. Email is accessible after you login to Seattle Bank. Email transmissions outside of the Online Banking service site are not secure. We advise you not to send or ask us for sensitive information such as account numbers, password, and account information, etc. via any general or public Email system. To ensure the security of your account information, we recommend only using the secure Email within our Online Banking when asking specific questions about your account(s). Email cannot be used to initiate transactions on your account(s); you will need to use the appropriate functions within the Bank's Online Banking service or call the Bank. .
ACCOUNT TRANSFERS AND PAYMENT REQUESTS: Transfers or payments initiated on a business day by 9:00 PM Pacific Time are posted on the day received. Transfers or payments initiated after 9:00 PM Pacific Time or on a non-business day will be posted the next business day.
STOP PAYMENTS: The Stop Payment feature in the Online Banking service is available to place a stop payment on a check you have written, or to stop payment on other pre-authorized payment orders against your account. To stop payment on pre-authorized electronic debit transactions, you must also revoke the authorization agreement with the originating company in the manner specified in the authorization. Stop Payment orders expire after 182 days and must be renewed by you if you wish to extend the Stop Payment order. Stop Payments initiated on a business day through this Service before 5:00 PM Pacific Time will become effective the same business day and stop payment orders initiated after 5:00 PM Pacific Time or on Saturday, Sunday or other non-business days will become effective the next business day. We cannot guarantee stopping payment of any item presented for payment on the same day as the Stop Payment order is requested.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Seattle Bank makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, in connection with the Online Banking services provided to you under this Agreement. We cannot warrant that Seattle Bank will operate without errors or that any or all services will be available and operational at all times. Except as specifically provided in the Agreement or where applicable law requires a different standard, you agree that neither we, nor our service providers, shall be responsible for any loss, property damage, or bodily injury whether caused by the equipment, software, Internet browser providers, Internet access providers, Internet service providers, or by an agent or subcontractor of any of the foregoing. Nor shall we or our service providers be responsible for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, economic or other damages arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of the equipment, software, Internet financial services, or Internet browser or access software. For joint accounts opened by one or more individuals over the age of 18 (an adult account holder), with a minor under age 18, each adult account holder, individually and collectively, assumes all liability for the financial transactions of the minor until the minor reaches the age of 18. Minors must be at least age 13 to utilize online or mobile banking services; however, minors may not utilize Bill Pay or POPMoney services. Any adult account holder may establish transaction limits for the minor (if applicable), determining whether the minor may have check writing or withdrawal privileges, and for designating which online and mobile banking services the minor may utilize, including: mobile deposit capture, online funds transfers, and receipt of eStatements. The adult account holder will communicate these instructions to Seattle Bank when the account is opened and may amend or cancel these instructions at any time the account remains open or until the minor reaches the age of 18, whichever occurs first. When the minor reaches age 18, he/she will have full access rights to the account as an adult account holder. If no special instructions or limits are set by the adult accountholder, the minor's transaction limits and privileges will be set at standard limits.
HOURS OF ACCESS: You can access your Seattle Bank account(s) using Online Banking service seven days a week, 24 hours a day. However, at certain times, some or all of Online Banking may not be available due to system maintenance.
TRANSFERRING FUNDS: Transfers may be subject to limitations based on individual account types as outlined in the Truth-In- Savings Disclosure.
CHANGES IN TERMS: We reserve the right to change any terms or conditions described in this Agreement. We may send any notice of change to you via Email and you will be deemed to have received it three days after it is sent. The revised terms and conditions shall be effective at the earliest date allowed by applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and your use of the Service in whole or in part at any time without prior notice.
YOUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE: You may cancel your Online Banking access at any time by providing us with written notice sent by US Mail to Seattle Bank, 600 University St, Suite 1850, Seattle, WA 98101; or by fax at (206) 568-4600. Within three (3) business days of receiving instructions, your access to Online Banking will be suspended. You may also cancel your Service by calling (206) 568-7800.
OUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE: Your Online Banking access may be canceled by Seattle Bank at any time, without prior notice and for any reason. If you do not access your Seattle Bank account(s) through our Online Banking service for a one-year period, the Bank also reserves the right to discontinue your Service without notice.
After cancellation, Online Banking services may be reinstated at Seattle Bank's discretion. To reinstate your Service, call us at (206) 568-7800.

CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF NOTICES: By accepting below or by otherwise using the Online Banking service, you also agree that any and all disclosures and communications regarding the Service between you and Seattle Bank, including this Agreement, may be made electronically by posting to the Seattle Bank web site in accordance with applicable law. Any electronic disclosure or communication we make will be considered made when transmitted by Seattle Bank and any disclosure or communication we make by posting to our web site will be considered made when posted by Seattle Bank.
